Art things: I have an insatiable appetite for characters messing with or styling each other's hair, holding hands, dancing, laughing together, or snuggling, as seems appropriate for the duo (i.e. obviously some characters and pairings are much less inclined to cuddle, dance, etc. than others.)  I love limited palettes -- I will never get tired of the palette challenge as it circulates around Tumblr and Twitter -- but I'm having a hard time thinking of other technical elements I tend to like. 

About other ships: Although I'm obviously a multi-shipper for the most part, I do have some vehement DNW pairings, so it's probably best to avoid background pairings or mentions of ships that aren't the focus of the fic.  Also, just because I ship two people with the same person doesn't mean I ship them *at the same time,* so please, no threesomes or poly unless it's something I've actually requested.

Wants:  Happy people who can and do have fun together and make each other laugh; awkwardness and imperfection in general, both in sex and in the early stages of a relationship; established couples who retain the same patterns of bickering or teasing they had before they got together; but at the same time, I like to see how relationships can adjust your behavior and how someone can let a hard exterior crack a bit without totally shedding it; give-and-take in sex and the rest of life, not one partner taking charge while the other's passive.

DNWs:  Infidelity, noncon/dubcon, excessive focus on bodily fluids (at all, but especially not fluids that wouldn't traditionally turn up in sex) or smells.  Or feet.  No foot fetish.  I'm down with smut but I'm not a big fan of kink fic or BDSM. I actively dislike settling-for-second-best in ship fics -- no "he'd rather be with someone else" or two people hooking up because they're both in love with a third party they can't have. 

Free!

Please, no background ships; this is one fandom where there are some pairings I'd very much rather not see.  I'd be open to AUs using either of the ending sequences, Splash Free or Future Fish, either fic or art, for any of these pairings, especially since the recently-released Momo and Nitori mook has elaborated on their Future Fish role and given one to Gou as well.

    Hazuki Nagisa/Matsuoka Gou

I love the way these two are so often enthusiastic in the same ways about the same things, sometimes actually in unison.  I love the potential dynamic in their third year, with Gou, Nagisa, and a long-suffering(-at-their-hands) Rei in charge of the club.  I'm (clearly) not one of the Gou fans who feels strongly that she should be called "Kou," but I do have a bit of a weak spot for nomenclature changes reflecting changes in relationships -- like, Nagisa switches to calling her Kou when they start dating, or maybe makes the switch without fanfare when he starts developing feelings for her, and she doesn't notice right away.

    Hazuki Nagisa/Matsuoka Rin

Okay, so first off: The completely adorable drama CD track.

Second: This piece of official art. 

That.  I love that.  That's what I want.  Or not necessarily illustration of the drama track -- cute as it is, and as much as it'd work for an art fill -- but that dynamic in general.  They just have so much fun together! 

    Matsuoka Gou/Yamazaki Sousuke

Considering that Gou says Sousuke dropped out of touch after they went to different high schools (well after Rin stopped writing to him) it sounds like the two of them were friends in their own right, not just through Rin.  Something playing off that history would be great.  Maybe one or the other of them, or both, had a crush in middle school but never confessed, and then when they're reunited they realize, crap, those feelings were just dormant.  Or on at least one side there was no attraction until they're reunited, and then "oh no s/he grew up hot."  Some missing scenes during Eternal Summer would be nice -- when did she find out about his shoulder? -- and/or something set post-series, when he's back in his hometown where she also lives. 

    Nitori Aiichirou/Yamazaki Sousuke

I love the way Sousuke went from unimpressed with Nitori and basically indifferent about him, to coaching him and getting really invested in his success, and I love that the two of them connected on grounds other than "hey we have Rin in common."  And while they *do* have Rin in common, I'd really prefer that not be played up in any fic about the two of them -- I want them interested in each other first and foremost.

T&B specific requests: Since it's an English-speaking setting, please no Japanese honorifics or terminology unless it's coming from Ivan.  And I prefer male pronouns for Nathan.

    Antonio Lopez/Nathan Seymour

Jeez, I'm sorry about the long wait if you matched on this.  I really love the hints at a mostly-offscreen friendship between these two, and the suggestion that Antonio doesn't so much mind being groped at all as being groped without warning and/or in public.  I'd love some missing scenes set during/around/after the Rising movie, whether they're a secret couple and Antonio's worrying secretly about Nathan, or comes to realize how he feels when Nathan's endangered, or whatever else you can think of.  Maybe they have a friends-with-benefits arrangement and one of them starts to want more?

    Barnaby Brooks Jr./Karina Lyle

My usual interpretation of Barnaby and Karina's interactions is a lot less hostile and tinged with dislike than most people's, it seems, though Karina's natural tsundere prickliness (and Barnaby's occasional well-hidden awkwardness) would be a factor in any beginning relationship.  I would take just about anything for these two -- there's so little!  Something about the two of them running into each other during the year he's retired?  Something post-Rising, working with her awareness of how he's changed by that point?  Established-relationship celebrity-couple banter and/or smut? 

    Barnaby Brooks Jr./Kotetsu T. Kaburagi/Karina Lyle

And the same goes for my first OT3 - there's too little fic or art and I'd be delighted with *anything.*   All I really ask is that you not center it on Barnaby and Karina fighting over Kotetsu, and if they fall into bed with each other because they don't think they can have him, please make sure their relationship is something more than that by the end.  I really want them as an equilateral triangle, you know?

    Pao-Lin Huang/Kaede Kaburagi

These two have so much potential and so little shared screentime or interaction.  Joint heroics?  Cute fluff?  Pao-lin mentoring or partnering with Kaede?  Kaede's working on controlling her powers and she just keeps needing to borrow Pao-lin's, it's just that lightning is complicated, there's no deeper meaning to it...

I'm about equally fond of the idea of Kaede as a second-generation hero and Kaede following her own path independent of her dad (and she and Pao-lin both have complicated parental relationships) so feel free to go either way, or to have her weighing the options. 

Ace Attorney

I haven't played AAI2 or read full spoilers for it.  Or PL vs. AA, for that matter.  Everything else is fair game.  Please treat Edgeworth and Franziska as a sibling relationship if it comes up.

    Dick Gumshoe/Franziska von Karma

I emerged from Justice For All pretty well convinced that while Gumshoe might have a crush on Maggey, Franziska had a crush of her own on "her detective" and she was aggressively terrible at doing anything about it.  T&T just solidified that.  I'd really love either to see the aggressive terrible-ness continue (Azula-caliber flirtation?) or to see her getting some help at some point.  I don't want to see her weakened in any way, but I would like to see Gumshoe recognizing her human side and liking it, and Franziska terrorizing him a bit less. 

    Miles Edgeworth/Dick Gumshoe

Gumshoe's so *loyal,* oh my god, he just loves Edgeworth so much.  I'd want to see some appreciation from Edgeworth's side, I think, and I'm fully accepting of explanations like "Edgeworth doesn't really dock his pay every time he says he will" to soften their canon dynamic at points. 

    Franziska von Karma/Phoenix Wright

She's so openly hostile it's almost kind of cute, right?  I distinctly remember shipping it a lot during Bridge to the Turnabout, though that line was the least of it.  In a departure from my requests for most other pairings, I'd be interested in seeing them going through a rough patch when Phoenix gets disbarred -- I can only imagine her idea of support would be different from what Phoenix wants, and likewise I can't imagine her being too excited about a relatively-new boyfriend suddenly adopting a child and a hobo lifestyle. 

On the other hand, I also love this headcanon starting their relationship post-disbarment; I can take or leave the whipping, but the rest just delights me.

    Apollo Justice/Juniper Woods

Juniper's crush on Apollo absolutely delighted me; it's just so *cute,* and I'd love to see Athena helping play matchmaker a bit (whether that means actually trying to nudge them together or just telling Apollo "hey, my friend likes you.")  I'm sorry I don't have any specific prompts; I just want fluff, and I find fluff ideas very difficult to come by.


Super Dangan Ronpa 2

I was familiar with the game's story before the NA release but I've also played it on the Vita, so my use of surnames for most characters is more about habit than preference.  Use whatever works best for you.  (Though I do have something of a preference for Gundam's overblown diction in Oren's translation, compared to the somewhat simplified dialog of the NISA version.) 

    Sonia Nevermind/Tanaka Gundam

Needless to say, Chapter 4 kills me every time.  I'd really love some behind-the-scenes or missing scenes developing their relationship up to the point, near the end of Chapter 3/beginning of Chapter 4 where it starts to come to the forefront.  I'm the kind of shipper who squeaks out loud when she takes Hinata to the ranch to talk to Gundam and finds Sonia hanging out there too, and there's a lot of interaction with these two we could miss, since the game sticks so closely to Hinata's POV most of the time.

    Hinata Hajime/Nanami Chiaki

Lately it seems like I've read (and in one case *received*) a couple of really good post-game fix-its, so while I can always get behind that, I'd love something different, too.  A happy high school AU, where Nanami's just a really dedicated gamer?  Or missing scenes set during the game's plot?  Or maybe something set during or after Dangan Island.  Dating Nanami absolutely delighted me, what with her interesting interpretations of shippy tropes and her reading of everything as a video game.  I'm not much for talentswap AUs and I wouldn't want Chiaki to lose her video games even if she's a normal human in origin, so historical AUs would be out, but I'd be amenable to other AU options -- SDR2 cast in the first DR?  Talented Weirdos IN SPACE?  Everyone gets sucked into a video game?

    Nidai Nekomaru/Owari Akane

I love these two loud, aggressive meatheads, and I love how their relationship is rooted in sparring and competitiveness and physical confrontation; they seem to have so much fun when they're fighting, you know?  I've never really sought out fic for this pairing, so I'd be game for any of the Usual SDR2 Prompt Suspects: post-game recovery/aftermath fic, missing scenes during the game, Dangan Island or normal-Hope's-Peak AUs.
